Incumbents Paul Byl (Shelby), Mark Carson (Boyne City), and Paul Schemanski (Petoskey), were recently re-elected by Great Lakes Energy members to three-year terms on the Co-op’s board. Carson and Byl defeated challengers in their district to earn another term, and Schemanski ran unopposed. Construction of the Ontonagon County REA’s new Boston Substation has started, and the project is on-target to have contract work completed by Oct. 16.
